About me

I am an ICT professional with over 13 years of experience in government IT, specializing in enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, and cloud services for Government Technology Agency, Bhutan. My career has been dedicated to driving digital transformation, managing mission-critical systems, and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative IT solutions.

I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, a Master’s in IT Management, and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science. My professional journey spans roles from ICT Officer to Deputy Chief ICT Officer, where I have led national digital initiatives, system modernization projects, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Beyond my technical expertise, I am passionate about research, with published papers in natural language processing and localization, as well as active participation in international conferences and professional development programs. I am also a proud member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) with a recognized positive skills assessment as a Systems Analyst.

Community engagement and volunteering are an important part of my life. I contribute to programs supporting women in leadership, youth education, and cultural associations, reflecting my belief in using technology and leadership to create meaningful social impact.

With strong project management, analytical, and collaborative skills, I aim to bridge business needs with innovative IT solutions that enhance efficiency, accessibility, and inclusivity in the digital era.

1. Bhutan Australia Alumni Association: Women in Leadership Program, Bhutan (2019 – Till date)
• Create a sustainable platform for the female leaders to showcase and assist other alumni members in the areas where they require assistance at work.
• Support and live up to DFAT’s alumni engagement strategy.
• Develop proposals for fundraising events.
• Develop a collaborative and dynamic learning and skill sharing, and engaging platform for all fellow alumni and effective female alumni engagement.
Through this program, we are currently providing a full-time scholarship to one female student who chose education and training over early marriage, as well as financial assistance to eight underprivileged young girls in primary school.

2. Bumblebees: A Pre-Kindy Program, Alkimos Primary School (2025)
● Volunteer as a parent to support Bumblebee sessions to assist with hand-on activity, handout craft and lend a hand throughout the session.

3. Established and served as Treasurer for the Association of Bhutanese in Perth (2013 – 2014)
